Hi folks
I thought some of you might be interested in this recent exhibition of paintings and stone lithographs entitled 'Shan't Quit', based on the sites of the murders of the canonical five victims.
The show ran from September to October this year, coinciding with the 125th anniversary, at Vane Gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne.

It was important that there was a slow reveal of the source material in order that the work wasn't merely illustrational. The only indicator of the JtR link is in the titling of the work - the titles are suffixed with the victim's initials so that it's possible to decode the link if you have the knowledge. And the title of the show is quite a big clue!
The show was well received by gallery audiences but I'd be interested to hear what the JtR community have to say.
