This is just a guess, he may have had a liver problem, when he returned from the war, and because he hated the unfortunates so much he removed their liver, a signature developed, the uterus removal was another psychological problem he had.

Maybe I missed something, but when did he remove a liver . . . other than Mary Kelly, from whom he removed about everything?

Jack may have been known to the police as a violent man, and arrested for picking fights, especially with the unfortunates, Jack was no saint, he may have spent a lot of time in bars getting drunk, fueling his intense hatred for the poor unfortunates.

He would live alone and most likely burglarized homes, and robed people to sustain a living.

Or as I would like to believe an army surgeon with a lot of field training operating quickly on wounded soldiers. Speed was a mandatory.

Signature is a more reliable guide to the behavior of serial killers than an MO.

Thats because the MO evolves while the emotional reasoning that triggers the signature doesn't.

Right Gareth, and if the signature is just "I want to kill me some whores", then there are many more victims that could be added. This is why 'signature' is not a great and exact science.
