Thanks for that information Howard, I guess I assumed it was four total as they had paired up...perhaps one man was somewhat ambitious that day. I thought that one incident involved 4 men though, by those arrest dates that seems incorrect.

I wish I could remember, or find in my notes, things when I want them, but I do recall an article, I believe in a discussion on this suspect with the former Grey Hunter, where a bath house is mentioned. I dont know why this would seem odd to anyone though, Bath Houses and Homosexuals historically have been paired together...since at least Roman Times, and London was a Roman settlement once, was it not? Ill bet some of the bath houses locations used in Victorian Times began their life as Roman Baths. Wasnt there a fabulous one found when excavations were done in recent years in London,.... was it at the Globe? Or was it to do with building Canary Wharf? Cant recall.

There were communal, Ladies and Gentlemen baths...now where would Tumblety go?

    Best regards Howard.

I dont recall the name of the establishment JM, but wasnt Tumblety charged with his Lewdness offenses that Fall, along with 3 other men, when arrested at what was described as a "mens bath house"?

Perhaps I just read between the lines JM.

    Hi Brad,

Although I like the simple suggestion, I think the only way that Tumblety and Druitt may have worked together was if Druitt had been handling his defense against the lewdness charges.

Now, if you can put Druitt at one of the gay baths that Tumblety frequented, at least that gives you the platform.

I do have to hand it to you though because at least one of them was held on suspicion...thats better than most 2 people theories.

    Cheers

    Hi Bailey,

Well, I wish I was talented enough to write something interesting. However, we all can not be Hemingway.

There are alot of reasons that I believe Tumblety and Druitt were killing women in 1888 of course it is all just a theory with no hard facts. I will set down and explain myself when I have more time. I just wanted to get the idea out there.

    Your friend, Brad

Interesting combination, Brad - care to elaborate on your theory, or are we awaiting a publication of some sort?

    Cheers,

With Druitt's brain and Tumblety's public relations skills, together they could have cornered the pimple medicine market. Why waste your time on murder?

    Hi Brad,

The first thing that occurred to me when I read your post was that Monty drowned, so I made the connection to Tumblety. I wasn't seriously suggesting that Tumblety murdered him. Although considering the state of Monty's body when they found it, I suppose there's a slim possibility evidence for such might not be too apparent.

Glad to know you're doing well.

    Best,

    Cel

    Hi Celestra,

I have been busy, doing nothing really important, just busy. I am serious, I believe that Tumblety and Druitt were involved together. I doubt Tumblety Drowned Druitt. I think Druitt committed suicide after Tumblety fled. Druitt may have felt abandoned by his partner.

Great work, Brad. So after they bumped off the women, Tumblety tumbled Monty into the river?

Haven't seen you around in awhile. Nice to have you back.

    Best,

    Cel
