I'm from the Land Up Over. On The Beach was one of my favorite books and I caught some of the movie on TV once. Now it looks like it's time for everyone to go Down Under.

Put this in a court of law and the Judge wouldn’t have time to take off his wig and take a sip from his cup of tea before he’d be told that the jury were coming back. Unanimously guilty. Diary a forgery. Game over.
The Judge was probably a big wig lawyer once and so he probably has no friggin' clue about the criminal classes either and wouldn't know a fence if he sat on one.

He probably doesn't know a damn thing about cold-blooded women killers either. And probably thinks Scrooge would go out and buy a proper diary and a watch, both with a proper monogram like Hitler would, as he keeps account of his female holocaust, and not use some old accounting book with blank pages. Your ideas are Scrooge and Judge Turpin and Pickton approved.

You are most welcome Lombro2 and the pleasure is all mine. And of course you get a complimentary toddy just for sticking around a bit.

By the way, are you from Down Under? If so, the relevant movie for you would surely by On the Beach about the survivors in Melbourne after a nuclear bomb. In which case the female part was played by the lovely Ava Gardner.

Yes, that's a good one Rog, thank you.

But here's the thing. I'm thinking of a movie type that had at least one female character

Which begs the question -Where's Caz?

I always thought of her as one of the brave steadfast Surviving Diarists.

You're more like the colonialist helping the British fight the Battle of Britain against one Braveheart and one Barbarian.
