    Hi, Tom,
They both have an Evans family line -- her mother and his grandmother.
They were both born in Wolverhampton Parish and lived at one point in Wolverhampton town. However, they did not live in Wolverhampton town at the same time as she was considerably older than he and left home young, as I'm sure you can quickly do the math.

Some members of the Eddowes family and Bury's grandparents/family seemed to live very near each other, perhaps next door.

They don't appear to be closely enough related to be first cousins, but beyond that, I don't know.

I tried to do a little research once and simply didn't have the right tools at my disposal to go back far enough.Or the interest either, I guess.

I'd love to see someone with the tools figure out if a familial relationship existed between the two and thought you might be the one to do so.

I think it was Chikatilo who chewed on an organ while on his way home. He had no intention of taking it home either. I'm really asking, why is it necessary to assume the killer must take the organ home? Clearly it is not always the case.

Hey, taking of dwarves, I wonder if this is what Mike Richards keeps going on about in the Liz Stride thread. He's mentioned low people hanging around Berner street a few times.

    Jack the dwarf

I'll go with the dwarf idea - on stilts. He approaches his victim, long coat down to his heels, whips open his coat, victim exclaims "No!" and faints with the shock, leaving Jack free to do what he did best. He then reverses the stilts, bringing him much higher up, and escapes by walking over the fences.

Writing in a schoolboy hand(writing) wouldn't automatically make the writer a schoolboy, just as a legal hand(writing) wouldn't mean a lawyer wrote it. A clerk, for example would often need to be able to write several "hands", just as one can choose a writing style on a computer. I would think that a schoolboy hand just means the handwriting style generally taught in schools.

    Best wishes,
    C4

Don't you think the idea that he took the organs home has been inspired more by the From Hell letter than anything else?

No, I'm not. What makes you think she's related to Bury?

Assuming that the From Hell letter is not from the killer, its very existence suggests that you can come up with the idea of him taking the organs home without knowing about the From Hell letter.

But yes, we don't know what he did with them - only that no trace of the organs was ever found, apart from the apron.

It would have been written at shoulder height. Not sure why a dwarf is being suggested?

But there was a cool 80's metal band called Killer Dwarves.
