    Jack The Ripper

And Carl Feizenbaum(sic) Supposed To Be One and The Same Man

    A SENSATIONAL STORY

To Be Published In New York This Morning-He Had A Mania For

    BUTCHERING AND MUTILATING

Women--The Story As Told By His Lawyer To The Press.

    WILL IT PROVE TRUE?

    By Associated Press:

    New York,April 27-

The following is from the gist of the article ( see link to follow for those who do not subscribe to Ripper Notes) which Wolf Vanderlinden touched on in his story on Feigenbaum yet the emboldened section differs slightly:

    This is Lawton speaking here:

" I questioned Feigenbaum closely and found he could converse with intelligence on surgery and dissection, but when asked if he knew anything about these subjects he would feign an ignorance that was unnatural.."

I have to ask this of you, the reader:

If Lawton questioned Feigenbaum who for the rest of the world sans Lawton apparently required an interpreter...and discovered Feigenbaum demonstrated intelligence when it came to conversing on surgery and dissection....why would Lawton have to "ask" Feigenbaum whether he "knew anything about these subjects",since he has already claimed....in the same sentence...that Feigenbaum conversed intelligently on them?

Let me pose it again with a different analogy:

"I questioned Ally Ryder closely and found she could converse with intelligence on baking and preparing stews, but when asked whether she knew anything about these subjects she would feign an ignorance that was unnatural..."

Furthermore...if Feigenbaum reacted with a feigned ignorance, then the entire concept of him being Jack The Ripper probably emanated in the lawyer's mind.

Again, Wolf Vanderlinden's article is more in depth ( I like going after the juicy stuff...) and is highly recommended.

    Can't trust them lawyers,folks...

Compounding the Obama terrorist associations, the London Slimes has revealed a new connection between Presidential candidate Barack Obama and another unsavory character, notorious slasher and serial killer Jack the Ripper, who like Bill Ayers, never expressed remorse for his crimes and was never punished for those crimes. While Barack Obama attended Columbia University in Chicago, a certain Joseph Brecht worked on the custodial staff. Obama was known to be friendly to Brecht, often stopping to greet Brecht in the halls on his way to class. It has also been rumored that Obama went so far as to purchase a box of Girl Scout cookies from Brecht on behalf of his daughter.
Brecht is the great, great grandson of a distant cousin to Ripper suspect Carl Feigenbaum.
It should be noted, just in case some readers are gullible, that this blog post was a joke published on the DailyKos website last October.

Otherwise, good work here Howard & Nina.

    Merry Christmas,

Hugh O. Pentecost, the other lawyer who knew jack squat about Feigenbaum being Jack The Ripper, not surprisingly, went back into the bible thumping business after leaving the legal profession a couple of years after the Feigenbaum execution. With a name like that, what did you expect?

A couple more goodies to add to the thread.

In 2006, a book was released by Mark Gado, entitled, Killer Priest. Follow the link to the book in question if you would.

On page 122, there is a reference...and so far...its the first reference from this century that I have found that mentions Feigenbaum as being JTR, using Lawton's comments. If this is true, then I owe Trevor an apology in that he may not be the reason we ever heard of Feigenbaum-as-Ripper in the 21st Century.

These fellows feel Feigenbaum was Jewish.

Apparently, these folks are hip to Trevor or Gado's work...or maybe this Lawton was more popular than we thought.

    Dear Trevor:

Please forgive Mike for forgetting the Philadelphia Inquirer. He's been hitting the egg nog lately and wel...you know how that goes.

Thanks to The Good Michael for the very kind remarks. I do have one or two agendas in Ripperology, if I may be so bold. One, is to get rid of all of these bum suspects,Tumbelty down to Poe's gorilla...and the second is to make ALL the ladies swoon. I ain't completed the first one yet.

    Now to Mr. Marriott....

It was a tragic end by lawton however it still does not detract from his credibilty with regards to his statment to the press following the execution of feigenbaum.

His partner,Pentecost, was oblivious to the basis of Lawton's statement. Thats like two cops working closely together not knowing what case or favorite doughnut the other works on or favors.

he made that statement and was sensible enough to know that he might be asked the $64.000 question "What were the enquiries" that he states he conducted into Feigenabum and his candidacy as The Ripper"

Do you know if Lawton spoke German? Ever check into Columbia College to find out? Then if he didn't, the man we need to ask about all is this is the interpreter. I think Wolf Vanderlinden covered all this succintly. Its in Ripper Notes #28....an excellent issue.

In view of that why should he make it up. If he had wanted to make it up surely there might have been more crimes nearer to home which might have had more impact with the press in The US.

Again, here's a man who has the ability to enhance his reputation as an ambulance chaser. How ? Claim your former, now electrocuted, client was Jack The Ripper.

In 1896 probably no one in The US would have probabaly heard of JTR.

I think you mean no one in the US didn't hear of JTR....since numerous murders were attributed to "JTR" up into the 20th Century.

WV did do some initial work into feigenabuam but chose to dimiss him without conducting a full investigation which i chose to do.

If YOU did a full investigation, why is there no message board posts regarding what Nina and I found about his drug intake or suicide? If anyone cares to experiment and look for Lawton, the FIRST thing they find is the story of his suicide. Suspect based Ripperologists, as I used to be, ask the wrong question. They ask, "What IF?" instead of "What IS?".

Since the publication of my report he has gone public statiing that many of my facts are incorrect. I have disproved many of his disputed facts.

The germane issue is this: That no one aside from a lawyer claimed Feigenbaum may have been or was JTR. No one else corroborates his story. Therefore,it is all hearsay. Wolf was right when he said that no one, aside from you, would have ever brought this guy's name up seriously again as a suspect.

As i continually keep saying in interviews it is for each invidual to read all of the facts and then eitehr choose to agree or disagree.

Authors have an obligation to present all facts...but as time has shown, that seems to exclude suspect based Ripperologists.

I firmly stand by my beleif that Feigenbaun is the best suspect for JTR to date based on my investigation not only into him bit the other band of likely suspects.

If there was no Mr.Marriott, there would be no Feigenbaum-as-Ripper. He is as viable as many of the American murderers who were tagged with the name Jack The Ripper and just as likely. Not at all.

I hope you sell a lot of books,Trevor. I really do. I own the first release. Books and films and now Rippercast bring people into the field. We're getting older and we need new blood in our beloved "Lost Cause"....and the Feigenbaum story-in-itself as well as the story about Lawton has been engrossing to my wife and myself. We thank you.

When they get into the field, thats when the edu-macatin' starts.

If the USA forgot "Jack the Ripper" by 1895/1896, how come a quick search of the "Press Reports" entering either date in the search field brings up quite a few articles featuring the name, "Jack the Ripper," in the general text or headline!
