Millers court Key???

We do have Barnetts admission that the key was lost, so having it found again isnt anything earthshaking. This thing about the locked door, locked windows crime scene.....all the killer need do is access the latch through the broken window to get in, and set the latch "off" again when he left. The windows were likely already locked when Mary got home with Blotchy. And the door likely unlocked. I dont see Mary shoving her hand through a broken window pane for the latch in the condition that Mary Ann Cox described her.

In fairness in the picture posted no claims are made to it being MJK's key, just that is was found nearby.

I dont see a reason why the key couldnt have been for the door, but it also could have been for a padlock on the dustbin itself. Or maybe the tap could be shuttered and locked.

Originally posted by Sam Flynn View PostPresumably, as the door had been forced, the rediscovered key wouldn't have been much use anyway. Maybe the man who found it was allowed to keep it, which makes it at least posssible that it has survived as a souvenir. It would be hard to prove that this key is one and the same, however.

I always thought that the Miller's Court key had resurfaced and was found shortly after the murder.
I am sure I read that somewhere, but I may be wrong.
Does that key in the photo have any engravings or inscriptions?
RD
No markings or engraving on the key!! I did ask him for additional information and history but no reply as of yet!! To be fair it’s quite a wild statement regarding the key
