    Would tend to agree about light in passage my guess would be gaps above the door frame/jamb??

    I'd venture to suggest that the 'light' seen in the hallway is in fact daylight shining through cracks and gaps in the rickety front door and/or door surround.     29 wasn't demolished until 1970.

    Might have been the news before the main movie ..... Dr No.

    The light down the hall way is an electric light globe in a small light shade fitting.
