Thanks for posting these articles. It's interesting that this identification of the writer of the Evening News letter (which was published simply as from "G. H. H.") as G. H. Hutt (P. C. George Henry Hutt) was published in an American Jewish newspaper on the same day as in the (London) Jewish World. Presumably there was a common source.

The article below, whilst interesting in its own right, caught my attention as it names the Jewish members of the Whitechapel Vigilance Committee (WVC). The article states that the committee had 16 members and names the Jewish members as:
J Aarons
John Cohen
Henry A Harris
M Isaacs
M Mitchell
B Barnett
S Jacobs
B Harris
