              • The passage into Mitre Square (St. James' passage?).

Mitre Square seemed shabbier than last time I was there (about 8 years ago). Don't know if that's the square or me...

                • Hi Harry,

Is that a recent photo? I'm just wondering if the redevelopment work is under way yet.

                  Regards, Bridewell.

                  • Hallo Bridewell,

Those photos taken 23rd December last. What on earth are they going to redevelop now?

                    Cheers,
                    Harry

                      Hi Archaic,

Those stairs seem very familiar. Have they featured in a film (films). Les Bicyclettes de Belsize featured something similar.

                      regards, Bridewell.

                        Hi Harry,

It was mentioned last year. I think it was on this thread. I'll try to find it.

                        Regards, Bridewell.

                        • Hi Harry,

John Bennett mentioned it in post 3589 (page 359). I don't think that was the only reference though.

                          Regards, Bridewell.

                            Hi Colin.

I'm afraid I haven't seen Les Bicyclettes. Or perhaps I've seen bits of it; the billboard scene sounds familiar.

Hopefully someone else will be able to answer your question.

                            Best regards,
