  • Spent a large part of yesterday in and around the east end, taking some photographs, as you do. Here are some of the results....

    How very thoughtful that the local authorities should now mark out Dutfields Yard with these helpful yellow markings. (Can't think of any other reason why they would be there....)

    Woods Buildings as it looks today, providing you stick your camera on the end of a tripod, use the timer function, and hold it up in the air over and above the level of the metal doorway.

                      • excellent work Andrew - especially liked the "NOIR" reflection shot with ChristChurch - so you went up in the Whites Row carpark at night - on your own? I want to try some shots there too but have been told its bit dodgy.....

                          It's not the safest of places I'll admit!

                          I was constantly looking over my shoulder whilst I was taking those pictures, although I didn't actually see anyone about in the car park at all. It was very busy everywhere else, with people standing outside the Ten Bells and wandering up and down Artillery Passage, but it has to be said that the car park is the one place round there where there's not a soul to be found.

                          Except intrepid photographers of course...
