  • What was the police procedure in regards to photographing a murder scene?

I have a few questions along this line.
Firstly, what was the procedure, if in fact there was one? Was photographic evidence valued? Was a photographer called for immediately or were they the last to know? Was the police photographer full time or was it something he did as well as other duties? Why aren't there pictures of all the murder scenes? How long was it after the discovery of MJK were the pictures taken? Are they the only pictures taken of the MJK murder scene and if so, why didn't they take many more, covering all the possible views? What was the name of the photographer of the MJK scene and did he ever have anything to say about it all. I'm sure I had some more questions, but those will do for now. Many thanks and regards to all that answer.
