His reaction to the murder of Rose Mylett is astonishing.now while i dont think Rose was a victim of JTR she was found dead on 20th December 1888 in the East End,the marks on her neck suggesting shed been strangled.
my point here is anderson thought the death was "natural causes" despite Wynne Baxter saying very different.Anderson still believed this in 1910 and said that the death of Rose was only considered murder because of the JTR series.
This suggests to me that perhaps Anderson wasnt the best police officer ever in that he couldnt identify a strangled woman as murdered.
