we have to assume that JTR was physically fit and also mentally semi ok !
i think he cleared off sometime soon after and up to a year later, but no longer than this.

the trouble is you cant get much more hideous than MJK, so after this he maybe stopped, or backed right off to who he was before JTR

I think he was a riverboat sailor . After the MJK murder he was satisfied with his revengeful "work" and went on with his miserable life .

Why would Jack feel depressed after killing Kelly and not After Eddowes,Chapman or Nicholls? The amount of mutilation? Thats like saying its not as bad cutting one eye from a dead body as two.
Mary Kelly was no random victim, to me. The mutilations were no insanity fuelled hacking. Yes, Jack was in a frenzy but he KNEW what he was doing.
And he liked it. Chances are he would do it again.
If perhaps there was some other reason to make Jack feel depressed, no money etc. he would just go out and kill again to my mind.

Nope. Nobody said the ripper was depressed. But youare saying he was not, while we obviously don't know who he was and how he felt.

Ok that's fair enough, but again I am assuming (I am sure Jimi will correct me if I am wrong) Jimi was referring to the depression soon after the killings and the suicide being soon after Mary Kelly not years down the line.

I haven't misread Jimi, I'm saying he could turn depressive afterwards. If a lunatic/serial killer can be depressed, he can be so before, or after a murder. Whenever, in fact, we don't know. Depression is something common. That he enjoyed butchering MJK doesn't mean he was happy for the rest of his life.
No idea how he felt one hour or one week after the deed.

I mean : he could have enjoyed it at the moment, then felt depressed afterwards. Who knows ? Now I don't believe in suicide.
