GUT....my brother across the ocean....I wish you could be there as well...but fear not...you will get so many pictures and updates you will feel like you were there.....you may even receive a gift from the convention from a Yankee who shall remain nameless
Steadmund Brand
Just trawling the boards on a war is he Sunday afternoon and came across this thread and post, little did I know that "my brother across the ocean" could be my twin. And the conference would reveal the fact.
My understanding from Jonathan is that the other talks from RipperCon in Baltimore will be released individually each on a succeeding upcoming weekend. I think this is reasonable given the work that is entailed in readying each podcast as well as in making each of the speaker's slides available. Keep up the good work, Jonathan. It is much appreciated!

Now another trivia question, this one with a prize of the successful responder's choosing.
Name the celebrity author who was to appear at the UK Bournemouth Ripper conference in September 2001 but ultimately did not appear there.
Answered by Wolf Vanderlinden at JtR Forums. That writer was the late thriller writer Tom Clancy who received advice from his people not to travel after 9/11.
How about Tumblety? I believe he lived in Baltimore for a time.
Mike
Yes Tumblety was connected both to the East End and to Baltimore and many other places. But there's a clearer ongoing modern day connection between East London, meaning the Tower of London, and Baltimore.
