Morning All,
Not being from London, I wondered if people still find that there is still a social stigma in regards to the East End.
Being 120 years since the Whitechapel Murders do Londoners and other still regard the East End as undesirable and maybe somewhat seedy or dangerous?
I know that the village I live in has for a long time had a repuation for being a bad neighbourhood which is now thouroughly undeserved. But even in 50 years if you say to people in nearby towns where you come from the treat you differently.
Is this still the case in East London?
Peter
