Liz Stride cleaned some rooms one day : domestic help by trade.

Kate Eddowes was fresh from Kent : a wealthy landowner. And John Kelly a gentleman farmer.

Unfortunately, as far as some people are concerned, one a prostitute, always a prostitute-- and what's more, people expect that the killer somehow knew that. I was discharged from the National Guard 13 years ago, so I'd be lying if I said I was a professional soldier, and I know a lot of people who waited tables for a summer in college, and now are lawyers, or professors, or rabbis, but a woman who was once desperate enough to solicit to get money for food will always be a prostitute, no matter what she is doing at some later time.

        Hello David. Thanks.

No, 'twas "Jack" who was saucy.

        Kate "fresh" from Kent? Doubtful.

        Cheers.

          Hello Rivkah. Sad but true.

But you know all about male fantasies.

          Cheers.

You should read a bit before posting such nonsense.

The life of Liz Stride, for example.

Because it's quite the reverse : "Once a domestic help, always a domestic help" for Lynn.

            Cheers

That could be insulting if it wasn't so silly.

The C5, and Tabram, and Smith, and McKenzie, and Coles, etc, were all casual or regular prostitutes.

It's a pity to see this point disputed in 2013. On THIS site.

I think Lynn was referring to the long-held belief (albeit, pretty much debunked for the last several decades, Pretty Woman notwithstanding) that prostitutes entered the business because they had extraordinary sexual appetites, and enjoy the sex.

I once was in a psychology class in college, when the prof. quoted a stat that 10% of prostitutes are lesbians. A guy a couple of seats over looked really surprised, and whispered to the guy next to him something like (I really wish I could remember the exact wording) "10% of prostitutes are putting the men on?" (If Brits don't have that idiom, "putting on" means fooling.)

Here's some news: 100% of prostitutes are putting the men on.

                        Hello David. Thanks.

Glad to look at your evidence.

Be patient, Lynn. I'm currently working on maps.
I'll soon produce new evidence that Whitechapel was in London.

                          Cheers.

Wait-- I thought they were all killed in a small, white church.

                                1. What was Mary Kellys real identity?
                                2. How many victims were killed by the same man, and which ones?
                                3. Did any Senior Official know the real truth behind the murders, and if so, whom?
                                4. Why was Liz Stride at 40 Berner Street that night?
                                5. How many men stabbed Martha?

Its hard just coming up with 5...Im sure for everyone. If I had to pick just one though it would be #2, its why I study in the first place.

                                Cheers
