There is the feeling of at least higher class involved in the Paris story. Of course, I am not enough of a socialologist to know the contrast between the British and French class systems of the LVP. The whole incident does seems to have been important to her.

Yes I'd probably go for that one...if there really is a pic of him extant then that one may be it...it certainly more closely resembles the newspaper sketches than all the others...

I'm looking forward to the pic of him accepting the local horticultural society prize for best single rose...or as a guest at a (distant) family wedding...but I doubt it'll happen some day soon...
