hi,
i found as well as a policeman on the ground from the area at the time in my family tree, (Joseph Godfrey born 1852) Bethnal Green area.
i have just found that Mr William Packer is the father in law of my 3rd great uncle.
where would be the best place to try to find more on Joseph, i have an ancestry account,

any way, i find it kinda cool i am related to one of the chaps who made such a mess of his statements,
although not in any way related, my mom would have been the same,
anything to get in the paper.
