Im not, cant speak for anyone else though. Im merely pointing out that the aliases Kate concocted her last 24 hours are fairly remarkable when considering who was to be the next victim in the alledged "Ripper series". In my opinion its a very good indicator that Kate knew someone calling themselves Mary Kelly living on Dorset Street. Maybe Kate was killed because someone believed she was in fact that Mary Kelly.Originally posted by John G View PostI've probably completely understood this post, but are you suggesting the possibility of a serial killer targeting women called Mary Jane? Because to be honest, that seems a tad unlikely to me.Michael Richards

There was a case in the States in the early 70s where it's suggested that the killer chose his targets for their names. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphabet_murders I tend to doubt it, but I suppose it's possible. It should be noted that a later series of three murders in California of similarly-named women was initially blamed on the same killer, but when he was caught, it was discovered that he had other victims who didn't fit the presumed pattern.Originally posted by John G View PostI've probably completely understood this post, but are you suggesting the possibility of a serial killer targeting women called Mary Jane?
