It made sense to me to mention trials handled by Hawkins that readers here would be familiar with. Cream was hanged in 1892. I personally have no information one way or the other about whether Le Grand had the wherewithal to organize something like this from within prison. I'm not necessarily 100% convinced that Hawkins was indeed the target.Originally posted by Debra A View PostTradeName. But,mentioning Neil Cream and Le Grand kind of makes it sound like they may have been involved? Justice Hawkins must have tried thousands of people at the Old Bailey, surely?
