It would be interesting to see the episodes of Farson's where he interviews the witnesses. I wonder if those episodes are available somewhere?

As far as the Miller's Court situtation, as I have said before, McCarthy, the landlord (slumlord) should have been ashamed of himself for renting that place out again. He should have boarded it up.

As far as the spitting story, I guess we will all never know. Maybe the man was getting sick in the grave ha ha ha.

Those girls should have followed that man and told the police

      Hi,
For the life of me I cannot contemplate how any human being could have moved into that murderous room, with any knowledge of its recent history, its surely the stuff nightmares are made of, and not only that, but what about the other tenants of the court, not to mention Mrs Prater, who must have been terrified living above.
Can one imagine, the fear the court dwellers would have experienced knowing that a madman actually entered that dingy passageway on November 9th, and cut a neighbour to pieces.
I know I would be apprehensive about closing my eyes at night, and ones imagination would run riot..
      What a life .....
      Regards Richard.

        Hi Richard,

I stated in one another post somewhere that had I been living in Millers Court after Mary had been murdered, I would have run fast and hard and not looked back. I would have gathered my few belongings and fled. McCarthy should have never rented that place again, but being a slumlord, he was out for his own benefit. If I were him, I would have been terrified myself knowing that JTR had committed brutal murder on one of my tenants.

I honestly don't know how any of those people remained behind. I would have been so frightened, I wouldn't have been able to breathe. Forget trying to sleep.
