          You are bidding on a Scarce Jack the Ripper Article in the Saint John Globe June 3rd 1913.Article by Retired C.I.D Chief Sir Melville Macnaughton claiming that Jack the Ripper commited suicide in Nov 1888.He knows all the details,but will not reveal them. Paper browned and brittle.Chipped edges

            This hard to find and most interesting book of 343 pages with some photographs , which is unclipped ( £20 ) and in excellent condition , tells in great detail of the year 1888 for the labouring poor in London , the poverty , crime , disease , the clubs and pubs and the workhouse and much more .

              Scarce softback 2000 facsimilie of rare Jack The Ripper material. The Whitechapel Mystery : The Story Of A Nameless Terror. The Story was serialised in Week End Novels from November 1930 to January 1931. 80 pages. Superb collectable, softback in very good condition,

                                Saint John is indeed in New Brunswick and is not to be confused with St. John's, Newfoundland. Saint John is on GMT-3 (ADT), while St. John's has the distinction of being on GMT-2.5 (NDT). Incidentally, Labrador, which is part of Newfoundland, is on ADT so it is only the island that has the half hour offset. Of course, all of this has nothing to do with anything.... I just thought it might be interesting.
