On March 21 1888, Dr Arthur discharged Annie Millwood as cured, and sent her to a workhouse in South Grove, where she was to die after only 10 days.
The post-mortem was conducted by Dr Arthur...
How could he say that her death was a consequence of the wounds she had suffered on Feb 25, he who had discharged her as cured?
I can't say for sure that he has lied at the inquest, but I know he had good reasons to do so.
Amitiés,
David
