  • Broadmoor, today

I thought Robert might find this of interest, from Broadmoor's own website:

    'Research Club
The group has a regular monthly meeting (the "119 Club") when work in progress is presented to other members. Visitors are welcome (secretary - Dr Tracey Heads). '

911 backwards? As in "the opposite of an emergency"?

              (a) We're getting increasingly Amercanised as a society - "Hi Mike" being an example ; and (b) "999" is a palindromic number.
              Kind regards, Sam Flynn

Maybe 119 is the room the meetings are held in?

I was brought up not far from Broadmoor and when I was at Sixth Form it was fairly close and we could hear the alarms being tested once a week.

Maybe all the "Screws" are secret fans of American boyband "911" but changed it for fear that the "Cons" might take the mickey!
