  • Sadler coincidences

    Hi,
Whilst it would appear that Sadler had a cast iron alibi for the Whitechapel murders, several intresting facts emerge.
A letter was sent to the police stating that 'I live at number 39, Cutler Street.
    Intresting fact.
Sadler worked at two locations in that street.
    Torrs Tea Warehouse,
    Also a bed warehouse.
    Intresting fact.
Sadler live in a house in the middle of Bucks row at one time.
    Intresting facts,
Sadler frequented a drinking place in Goulston Street, and the Britannica Dorset street.
His wife walked out on him just 16 days before Nichols was killed, very close to where he used to live [ an area he knew well]
    Intresting fact.
Sadler paid half a crown to Coles to retrieve her bonnet, shortly before she was killed....one could reflect on Nichols famous quote' Look what a jolly bonnet ive got'.
    Intresting fact .
After asking his wife to meet him in london , and being worse for drink , he asked his wife to go with him to a spot, where a woman was 'killed'.
    She refused.
    All coincidences of course.?
    Regards Richard.

Interesting facts, Richard. Half a crown seems rather a lot. That's more than a week's doss money.

    Regards,

    Steve.

Sadler tried to get Coles to obtain underwear however Francis stood firm and bought a bonnet.

Also Sadler bought lottery tickets from the Marlborough head.

Seeing as we are banging out facts.
