  • Help with Unsolved UK Murders Wiki

Hello this is my first post to the forum here, so please don't think I'm just spamming - As I've followed this forum for a couple of years and have just registered. I love all the articles on the main site and have enjoyed listening to the podcasts.

    OK...

I just started to work on a Wiki about unsolved UK murders and would very much like it if some people have the spare time and the inclination to help me edit this wiki.

I've taken some of the information from Wikipedia as a start but would like a more comprehensive list of victims and details of the murders in question. I've only started this Wiki today, so there is not much information listed at present.

The wiki is here if anyone is interested in contributing - One must register with Wikispaces first before being allowed to edit content.

    Thanks again.

Can't help with the list on Wiki, but wonder if you,or anyone else can give details of an unsolved crime in Liverpool in the early to mid 1940's.I believe the victim was a landlady killed by robbers.Remember reading of it many years ago.but have lost reference to it.

      Hi Redgoblin,

a good project! Here's a few unsolved UK murders that I've always found fascinating:

Janice Weston 1983 (found battered to death in a lay-by on the A1)
Julia Wallace 1931 (plenty about this case on these boards)
Freddie Mills 1965 (the British boxer and club-owner found shot in his car)
John Cartland 1973 (murdered in France and his son long suspected by French police)
Amy Robsart 1560 (did she fall, or was she pushed?)

      All the best,

      Graham

        Georgina Moore 1882
        Thames Torso Murders 1887-89

That's 21 for now. I don't get too excited until a case is at least 20 years old but that's just me.

This my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, that is, if I'm not joking.
