Kelly's fine

In researching Mary Jane for my novel I came across a small tidbit of information (Victim's section Marry Kelly page) stating that she was fined 2/6 for drunk and disorderly conduct. Would that be two punds, six shillings or 2 shillings/six pence? there were no currency symbols in the entry.

Two shillings and six pennies which was 30 pennies and 1/8 of the old pound.
