  • Press accountability

Hello: I am SO-very shy I seldom creep out from under my rock to post but
    here goes...

When did reporters begin to print their names with their articles?
And, did the editors keep records of the writers?
Finally: Did the police ever give a corner in the Echo-to scarlet runner?
    If so, was it answered?

To all the JTR enthusiasts that enjoy the research as much as I do,
    cheers!

    Speaking about research

If you subscribe to this archive:
Whether you are a researcher, historian or you simply want to know more about Britain's history, take this fantastic opportunity to search The British Newspaper Archive - a vast treasure trove of historical newspapers from your own home.

You can look back through the decades of newspapers and you will see when each newspaper started to add the names of writers to their columns.
    Regards, Jon S.
