    The ripper killings...?
It seems at the time that certain papers maybe went for the sensational and speculative..
but how do you think the Media would report it if it happened today..?
I don't simply mean like a "FOX news" sayin' "White Anglo saxon woman murdered by obvious immigrant" sorta thing, but a mainstream following of the "Autumn of Terror"..
Answers would be preferred in a sort of chronological build up from the first killing..but I would be interested in whatever folk thought...

Woman found dead in east London.

Police will be anxious to move the body before torrential rain hits the area later today, followed by the coldest winter on record, with the possibility of life-threatening conditions.

The Mail would comment on how these events are bound to happen when you allow the lower orders to go out after dark and have access to alcohol.

The Sun would be more interested in the human side. Like the size of Mary Ann Nichols breasts.

And the tv stations would make their coverage as repetitive as possible by showing the same scenes and interviews over and over and over again. Especially the interview where the reporter asks a victims relation : "how did you feel when you learned that your sister had been torn to shreds on the street?"

            THE GUARDIAN

A woman has been found murdered in east London.

Diane Abbott has slammed the Tories : "Just one murdered woman is two women too many. When elected we will boost the police and make the force more diverse by recruiting more women officers, especially dead ones."

              CORRECTIONS & CLARIFICATIONS

Early editions yesterday reported that "a woman had been found horribly muddled in Whitechapel". They should have read that "a woman had been found horribly murdered in Whitstable".

It would be on Crimewatch UK of course, complete with crime scene reconstructions.

The Ripper would be caught - and no one would have heard of him. Then he'd be locked up and we'd all contribute taxes to keep him till he expired. Maybe he'd go on hunger strike.

A few years down the line there would be a police drama based on the murders. The Inspector would get a phone call and race to the crime scene, only to find that forensics had already done a full examination and the Sgt had interviewed all the witnesses. The Inspector would then set to work to solve the mystery of why he's always the last to find out.

Following the most recent murders, an apparently racist message was found chalked on a wall in Goulston St. It read : 'The ***** are not the men that will be blamed for nothing.' Anyone recognizing the unusual spelling ***** of the word **** is asked to contact the police immediately.

The Daily Mail : its all Clement Attlee's fault!!!!

The Guardian : these crimes have absolutely nothing to do with Islam!

The Sport : these poor women were the victims of a vicious, giant pink hedgehog called Gerald!
