I'm going to stick my neck out a bit now and fly in the face of what we have always known what if some one did see jack at his work and not report it to the police.people about at that time in the area of the murders were surely up to no good themselves let's face it Whitechapel and its immediate surrounding areas were truly god awfull places my great grand parents lived in Whitechapel during the autumn of terror and my father and his family come from the surrounding area and I have always been told by my dad that nobody would venture into Whitechapel if they could avoid it unless they were up to no good
