We have absolutely had enough of the pack deciding that it's perfectly acceptable to flout the rules and mob attack a poster, just because you don't like him.
Let me be exquisitely precise: By and large, Pierre has not violated a single rule of this site (other than some answer back attacks when the lot of you are being absolutely obnoxious). In contrast, in response to Pierre being a prat, but not violating the rules, several of you have racked up enough points to earn yourselves year long bans, should we decide to pull the trigger. And right now, it's under consideration.
Pierre has failed to integrate into this community. That's clear. He's failed to read the social cues and signs and adjust his behavior to a standard you all have deemed is acceptable. He won't bend his knee to your browbeating. Ain't that just a pisser?
That being said, rather than responding in a mature, adult fashion and simply ignoring an irritating little git when an irritating little git comes along, you all have now created MULTIPLE THREADS spamming the forums with your childish attacks. You've created a hoax that is essentially no different than what Pierre has done, hyping a bullsh!t non-existent theory, except you deliberately lied and spread misinformation and Pierre probably actually thinks he's solved it.
So let me now be clear: The next person who attacks Pierre earns a 6 month-forever ban. (The length of ban will be determined by how good of a mood I was in before it was destroyed. The better the mood ruined =longer ban. I am currently at the beach, dipping my toes in the water and breathing that salty air. You get banned, you might never be coming back).
Pierre is irritating, oh yes indeed, but you know what? As of right now, he's my favorite, shiny star in the whole forums, and anyone who doesn't play nice with him gets the boot. You don't like him? Tough. Ignore him like a grown up would do.
There are plenty of places on the internet where mob mentality rules and if you find this announcement too restrictive, you are welcome to make your home there.
