Andrew Firth, Frogg Moody, Mark Ripper and Adam Wood are proud to announce that organisation of next year's East End Conference in London is well underway!

We aim to give delegates an enjoyable weekend of talks and presentations by quality speakers on Jack the Ripper and other East End themed subjects. Plus a chance to catch up with old friends in the heart of the Whitechapel and Spitalfields district. And with 2018 marking the 130th anniversary of the canonical Jack the Ripper murders, we have a few special ideas to mark the occasion!

Check back here, or on our Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/370960679931453/ for the latest developments as they unfold!

Here's to the 2018 conference!

Very best wishes,

Andrew Firth (Conference Organiser)

2018 EAST END CONFERENCE

We're delighted to announce that the 2018 East End Conference, will be held over the weekend of 3rd and 4th November.

Following 2017's successful event which saw talks from speakers including Robert Smith, Karl Coppack, Charlotte Mallinson and John Bennett, we're pleased to return this year to London's East End with a variety of lectures on Jack the Ripper and related East End topics.

The event is being held at The Astronomer on Middlesex Street, at a cost of just 60 per person.

Our emcee for the weekend will be Richard Jones, reprising his duties from the 2016 Ripperologist magazine 21st Birthday celebrations.

Seven expert speakers will appear, those already booked are Louis Berk, Drew Gray and Philip Hutchinson, with more to be announced.

The event website - www.eastendconference.com - will provide full details including how to reserve your place for this keenly-awaited event! The site will go live next week, watch this space for further details!

Very best wishes
Andrew Firth, Mark Ripper & Adam Wood

Default New speaker announcement

On behalf of my fellow organisers, we are delighted to reveal our next speaker at the 2018 East End Conference taking place this coming November at The Astronomer, Middlesex Street E1.

TRACY I'ANSON will speak on Ripper suspect Jacob Levy, revealing more of her researches which has already seen Jacob confirmed as the cousin of Mitre Square witness Joseph Hyam Levy. Was Jacob Levy the Whitechapel murderer? Join us in November as Tracy explains all.

I'm also personally very pleased to announce that Tracy's book on Jacob Levy, written with her father Neil, will be published by Mango Books and will be launched at the Conference.

Tracy joins fellow speakers Louis Berk, Drew Gray and Philip Hutchinson, and emcee Richard Jones at the eagerly-awaited event. Further speakers will be announced soon.

There are just a dozen places left for the Conference - if you would like to join us, visit www.eastendconference.com for details.

Congratulations to Tracy.
