    I have a question for anyone who has or has read Michelle Dresbold's "Sex, Lies and Handwriting".

    Does the book repeat the claim on her website that the Ripper was known to use a saber-like weapon? If so, does she cite any kind of source for this assertion?

    I did ask Ms Dresbold this directly, but she never answered, and it's bugging me a little.

      I know that this post is from 2008, but to hopefully answer the question, yes. The reason being is the "dagger like" lines that are made in one of the letters indicating that a knife of some sort was used on the victims. That is her theory, and this is the image she uses:
