In order to remind oneself how to spell those difficult two-letter words perhaps?

          Hello all,

After much delay due to many things, and because of problems contacting individuals in various ways, I will, within the next few days post a complete list of books available for sale.
If you do not see a specific book you are looking for, then this due to one of 3 reasons.
          1) it has been already sold or gifted away
          2) it is one of a handful I am keeping for now
          3) it has never been owned by me

I would like to thank all for their patience in this matter and again apologise for any delay. Things have taken more time than I would have liked and presented greater difficulty than expected.
All unsold books will be given to a local library here in Norway.
Expect a list shortly. Thank you again for your kind attention.

          Best wishes

              Phil,
I'd be interested in Porter and in The rise of SY by Douglas Brown. Am I supposed to wire the money to your bank account? I'll PM you.

A updated, revised list of books for sale will be in the new Ripperologist magazine due for publication this coming week, I understand. Those who are not subscribers to the magazine (which I totally recommend in every way) can pm me here or email me.

Many thanks for the interest shown thusfar

                    Phil,

I don't have the $$ to subscribe. And I can't PM or email you because I haven't made enough recent posts to see your contact info. (I think 25 is the magic number of posts to gain those privileges.) Can you please click on my profile and email me the list of your books? BTW, I'm in the USA.

                    Thanks,
                    Janice

                          Hi Phil,

I didnt see Fenian Fire on your booklist, can I assume that is not one of the books you used for your study?

For me personally it is a book that definitely should be read by any student of the Ripper crimes. The insight it offers into the actions and mindset of many of the Senior Investigators of the Whitechapel Murder cases is invaluable.

If you havent already, and still are interested to read any Ripper books, Id highly recommend it.

                          All the best,

                          Mike R

                            Hello Mike,

I too would recommend it, as it is a great addition to the background of the Whitechapel scene. You will notice that in my first post I wrote that there are some books I have either given away, am keeping or simply don't have. This book falls into one of those groupings.

I have added a couple of McCormick books (including the original 1st edition) and have sold a few since the original list came out. As written, the updated list will be printed in the new Ripperologist Magazine coming out very soon.

                            best wishes

Thanks for the reply Phil, and I have to say that you have certainly been an avid student. I hope that the issues taking you from the study are not too serious. Particularly with regards to your health.

Hi Phil.. Good luck. It must be tough to sell your books. I collect original Beatles memorabila and have decided to sell most of my collection. Your getting through selling your books will help me take that step! Tell me it only hurts for a wee bit!!!...Robert
