Default Tumblety's origins in Ireland

Hi folks,
A few years ago, I asked the readers of Ireland's Anglo-Celt newspaper for tips on locating Francis Tumblety's origins in Ireland. This was after a tip off that he was from Cavan county.
The original article requesting help is here:
http://www.anglocelt.ie/news/inthepa...ly-from-cavan/

I got quite a few responses to my request but none of it was relevant and just when I was giving up all hope a Cavan woman rang me and gave me the information I needed. I wrote up an article on Francis Tumblety's origins in Cavan for the Whitechapel Journal in October 2014.

The link to my own pdf (excuse the typos) of the article is here:
https://www.pdf-archive.com/2017/01/...blety-madam-x/

Hope you enjoy.

Hello Siobhan

Nice to see you back here. Congratulations on your article on the Tumblety's origins in County Cavan for the Whitechapel Journal of October 2014. Good work on this eternally fascinating suspect.

Cheers

Chris

Thanks Chris.
I thought it would be of interest to those who believe he originated from Dublin. There are quite a few out there!
