Hello Rocky,

How would Stride know that the man who pushed her to the ground was the Ripper? What if Stride mouthed off to him or refused to move from where she was standing and that provoked the B.S. man?

I can't imagine that a woman standing alone late at night in Whitechapel getting hassled by a possibly drunk man was a unique event.

I think the graffito was written to either mean Schwartz was to blame for interrupting or because the killing was outside Jewish club and shouted lipski police meant suspect a Jewish ripper.

Cd, stride might have known BS man from the street. The actions of Bs & pipeman seem so strange, we don't know what the assault was over if it wasn't murder? Wtf was pipeman doing just walking up and growing stride down? And pipeman already in a doorway when BS man grabbed stride. Did BS man go to get cachous for stride while pipeman & liz waited? What building was pipeman standing in the doorway of

Or what if BSman was trying to grab the candy and that's why stride had her fist clenched grasping the candy.

The question is how did the cachous survive Liz being thrown to the ground and pushing herself back up without spilling?

It's certainly possible but I have no idea why the killer would want to do so.

Hello Rocky.

"The actions of Bs & pipeman seem so strange . . ."

So strange that the story can be seen as made up?

". . . we don't know what the assault was over if it wasn't murder?"

Exactly. There should have been no assault in that short time.

"What was pipeman doing just walking up and throwing Stride down?"

Pipeman?

"And pipeman already in a doorway when BS man grabbed Stride."

A building long since closed.

"Did BS man go to get cachous for Stride while pipeman & Liz waited?"

Assault someone then buy "candy"?

"What building was pipeman standing in the doorway of"

A pub.

Cheers.

cheers lc i meant to say what was BS man doing throwing her down. Were the candies ever traced to a nearby shop? I wonder which pub. but yes perhaps the cachous were placed as a joke in liz hand after all the ripper seems to have a taunting nature. I see you think the story is made up? Why would schwartz make up the story? IF it was true do you think pipeman & BS knew each other? working together or pipeman is a witness like schwartz who bs man calls lipski, pipeman flees long enough so schwartz no longer places him at the scene then goes back and kills stride. It seems more likely to me they may have been working together. But it's very fascinating that pipeman was identified because i think he's one of the best candidates as he can be placed at the scene of an attack on a woman who was killed within minutes. It would make sense that the police also talked to the ripper in the course of the investigation but i didnt catch on or didnt have anything on him. I'd love to know who pipeman was and what he told the police?
