  • Some works of art, please!

    Hello you all!

I thought, it's about time to revive the art made by us, Casebook members, to a thread on these boards!

    So, I should start?!

All right, I will attach a drawing with crayons about The Man Himself!

Hope to see the work of you better artists than me!

    All the best
    Jukka

    Hello Jukka,

That's brilliant! I like it very much. Are you sure you're not related to Walter Sickert?

Several of us had stuff on the photo archive before the great crash.

Here's one I don't remember posting before - White's Row Car Park reflected in the building opposite (I did this in 2000).

And two more ideas from 2001. The images speak for themselves.

          Thanks, Limehouse.

Not really. I'm an art teacher, but Ihave sold the odd thing or two. Went to art college and all that.

Your students are very lucky to have such a talented teacher. I love art, I work in education and use a lot of art in my citizenship lessons (I've just introduced one group to the work of Banksy) and I have painted and drawn a bit myself but nothing as great as that.

I love the White's Row car-park painting, John. Reminds me of a Hockney photo-montage, if you pardon the compliment.
              Kind regards, Sam Flynn

Some very nice stuff posted there.

Sadly my contributions are computer generated--I dont' have the eye-hand coordination for drawing or painting.

                              Hello K-S!

Well, an Asian animation (I like it too! ) about Jack the Ripper could be an interesting idea!

All right, I will continue my contirbution with an effort about young Catherine Eddowes!
