  • The illustration of Kosminski

What's the source for this infamous sketch, and do we know definitively that it is supposed to be Kosminski?

There was a map or booklet of some such produced a while back that contained fanciful images of the victims and suspects.

This illustration of Kosminski came from that. No basis in reality.

The map was 'Jack's London' written and published in 1993 by Daryl Sullivan and Andrew Cockell. Copyright, Geonex UK Ltd.

          Excellent, well done Rob.

I thought it was from that map but I don't have a copy any more.

By the way JM, I think of the victim sketches, those of Annie and Liz are based on contemporary newspaper illustrations.

          Best wishes

Poor Mr Chapman - can we move this thread to the Kosminski section?
