We read him here, we read him there
We read Pierre, and fill with despair,
We wish him away, we wish him in ....well
    Annoying Jack somewhere in hell!

Well just hang around some Pierre threads and you'll be seen right.

          Dog matters

" I denies the allegation, and I denies the alligator too."
I'm sure my dogs can post well. They just don't tolerate fools & baggage, being hounds, as they are.
From Voltaire writing in Diderot's Encyclopédie:
"One demands of modern historians more details, better ascertained facts, precise dates, , more attention to customs, laws, commerce, agriculture, population."

Yes, but do they interact well with their Pierres?

Clearly not, they don't tolerate fools and baggage.

                Who dat

We has no Pierre(s) in the Fakitoukie Swamp. It's Zen JTR my hounds would have a problem with. Koan...no nothing, baggage just as transcendent.

                  Sonoma State University
A koan (Japanese pronunciation) comes from the Chinese word gongan meaning "a pubic case."
                  (Merriam Webster)

Yes, now I see how a koan is relevant to the Whitechapel murders.

                  Best wishes

                      With apologies to Berthold Brecht:

"Oh Pierre bites, with his teeth dear,
                      They are hardly, pearly white.
They are broken, and worn down dear,
and his wit - it's not of sight!"

                      Regards,

                      Jeff

Pierre and the Casebook went to see
If they could solve the crimes.
They wrote some books and made some money
In five pound notes and dimes.
Pierre looked up to the stars above
And sang to a small cadet:
"I know who dunnit, I know who dunnit,
I just can't tell you yet!"

to the music of "rippers gonna get you" from jack the ripper the musical:

There you are a minding your own business when out from behind you comes the big old troll.
facts none, job done, silly lill' song sung.
fakers gonna get you if you don' watch out.

                              Good stuff, Curious and Elemarna!

(with apologies to Peter, Paul, and Mary): "PIERRE THE MAGIC POSTER"

                              Pierre the magic poster
                              lived in Cyber-space,
                              and frolicked in Victorian fog,
                              on a site called Casebook.

Many posters loved that rascal Pierre,
they brought him clues and clippings,
                              plans and other fancy things.
Together they would sail from thread to thread,
                              and when debunkers called,
Pierre roared out his mighty song-- "I know the Name, I do,
but I cannot tell it yet!"

Then one gray day it happened,
                              the posters came no more,
                              Pierre, that mighty Poster,
                              ceased his metaphorical roar.
His head was high, for he said,
                              "I cannot be provoked!"
