Does anyone have any thoughts about the verdicts in this case? Was anyone surprised at the guilty verdicts?

I find it hard to believe the accused men received a fair trial. Which is not to say I think they are innocent. Morally those guys are scum.

I was surprised by the guilty verdicts. I think the original investigation was a scandal. I am certain there should have been more than two men standing trial.

No one seems to have picked up on the sentences. I consider these sentences far too soft.

Totally agree the sentences were too soft, but I believe the judge was under constraint as they were juveniles when they commited their vile crime, just hope that the other scum involved are bought to book.

I think that the dignity and determination to see justice done for their son that Mr and Mrs Lawrence showed was humbling to say the least, I hope they find some peace now.
