        Probably the best known unseen presence in major musicals in film history. I'm glad she did get the recognition for her work as the voice of so many actresses.

          Real star,

          unnoticed by the masses but adored by her fans.

          Without her the decision not to cast Julie Andrews in My fair lady would have been a disaster, with her it worked. Although to be fair to Audrey she looked the part wonderfully.

          And of course a real survivor and fighter too.
