Default Zoomable OS maps from early 1890s

The National Library of Scotland has posted fully zoomable maps including the Whitechapel environs at this link. The scale goes to 1:1000 or five foot to a mile

Mmm, I use this all the time, very handy map. Not quite as detailed as the Goad insurance maps, but much more useable and scrollable.

Thanks Sam

Joshua, thanks for the input. The goad maps are available through The British Library at http://gallery.bl.uk/viewall/default...don%20and%20SE

Don't suppose you've the codes for the maps of interest? If not I'll try and work through

Best wishes

Paul

I've got a few useful ones noted down somewhere, I'll try and dig them out...

In the meantime, if anyone knows of a site that has them all linked in a scrollable fashion, a link would be brilliant.
