  • The murder location -- today

I think Google Maps more or less pinpoints where McKenzie was killed, but maybe one of the Casebook location-gurus can confirm this.

    Here's how I found it:

In Google Maps, enter "Old Castle Street, London, England". When the map loads, click on "Street View".

The gray building on the left is the facade of the old Whitechapel Baths building. You want to back away from it, so click the lower "V" twice. I think McKenzie was killed just about where the guy is sitting on the sidewalk. Is this correct?

    Thanks,

    Bulldog

    Bulldog,

Yes, thats pretty much the spot.

Here is Rob Clacks 2005 photo of the scene.

        Hellrider,

The black bricked building, on the right, is the remains of the Goulston Street baths, which was around in 89.

Castle Ally underwent some alterations months after the murder.
