Default Police Orders 1st October 1888

Page 5 of Dick KIRBY's book Whitechapel's Sherlock Holmes. He states that on the 1st October 1888 PC153L Fred WESLEY was one of 161 Constables and Sergeants from other divisions drafted into Whitehcapel to assist in the hunt for Jack the Ripper.

Clearly KIRBY has obtained this information from somewhere, my question is has anyone ever looked at Police Orders for the 1st October 1888?

Simon Wood's comprehensive list of officers covers the draft of the 31st October 1888 http://www.casebook.org/dissertation...personnel.html

I'm curious to know whether this is in fact another list of names that can be added to this? PC Alfred LONG & PC Ernest SCHOLES for example?
