Guess it’s no worse than the ends some people go to try and support sillier theories about old Jack.

However it ends, it's gonna be cool!

It strikes me as a hybrid of Jules Verne and Evel Knivel-- with a dash of steam-punk and a pinch of carny side-show man.

Any fool believing the Earth is flat probably also believes it rests on the back of a giant turtle.

What's wrong with putting a go-pro on a weather balloon to film the curvature (or supposed lack there off) safely?

Don’t flat-earthists believe that the sun & moon are round? So, it’s just the earth that’s flat? Why?

Apparently they do think it's just the Earth that is flat, or rather, "hockey-puck shaped" according to this article at Forbes.

Yesterday, the United States witnessed a magnificent astronomical sight, a total solar eclipse. Most Americans took away a sense of profound appreciation for our Solar System, however, there was an underlying group of people set to throw the curtains wide on the lie of a round Earth.

They say our disc-shaped Earth has high walls around the sides, and a domed "firmament" above it, in which the sun, moon, and stars are contained.

                  Pretty Middle Ages, really!

Yes, I do read Fox news from time to time. They have a full article on this dude. Some of his best quotes (http://www.foxnews.com/science/2017/...-man-says.html)

                    “I don’t believe in science,”

“I know about aerodynamics and fluid dynamics and how things move through the air, about the certain size of rocket nozzles, and thrust."

Not science obviously. But wait, there is more:

"But that’s not science, that’s just a formula"

"There’s no difference between science and science fiction.”

In the names of Arthur C. Clarke and Carl Sagan-- that flat-earther Rocketman is more than a few screws loose! Lol...

Thanks for the humor break, Svensson.
