  • Crew Agreement/S.S. Winestead

I'm sure somebody has these documents in their collection , but I obtained them to make public on the Casebook forums for the record.

After inquiring of any record of Sadler on the Winestead, here is the reply from TNA.

"I have found Mr. Sadler on a crew agreement dated 27/7/88 – 1/10/88. That is the only Winestead voyage he was on that year. His previous vessel was the Georgian of Liverpool, ON 65958. I also retrieved the Georgian crew agreements dated:

    22/12/87 – 5/3/88
    12/3/88 – 24/6/88
    16/7/88 – 23/8/88

Unfortunately, I could not find Mr. Sadler on any of those voyages. Perhaps the incorrect vessel name was provided, or the port it belonged to was not Liverpool."

Here is the Crew Agreement with Sadler's signature.

Thanks, Jerry. I certainly hadn't seen these before.
I won't always agree but I'll try not to be disagreeable.

Your welcome! It was fun to see them when they arrived. They really are a treasure trove of information in my opinion.

Who knows, the man Driscoll that deserted ship on August 16th, could be another Ripper suspect?! Kidding of course!
