Clearly the parents are nuts and probably dangerous too.

The police report violence in the home which is the grounds for taking the children into care.

Adolf Hitler Campbell sounds a bit like Muhamad McCarthy or Usama O'Callaghan.

Right. And I'm the Queen of France.

Yeah, if I ever had a son, I'm sure the first name that popped into my head would be Adolf Hitler. A perfectly logical choice--esp. for a family with a very obviously German name like Campbell!!!

              Unbelievable!!!

The Campbells were always bad buggers......and I'm not just talking about this particular family.
My opinion is all I have to offer here,

So, if I name my son Osama, should he be taken away?
                  What about Saddam?
                  And my favorite, Benito?

As mentioned in Post #5, the police reported violence in the home which is the grounds for taking the children into care.

Don't see the problem. My youngest son is called Pol Pot. There's no violence in the home, granted, but, please, let's allow a little creative licence for naming our offspring. Whadya want? The halycon days of tedium where everyone was called Jack, Jimmy, Billy or Big Billy? You people have no imagination. I'm all for making use of foreign names:famous, infamous or anonymous; so my next lad will be named 'Corrupt' - after every Frenchman who ever lived. Might even throw in 'Anonymous' as a middle name.

                      Out of the EU now!

Stalin is popular in the North East these days.

I know the North East of England very very well, and I can assure the good people here in this forum that Stalin is not popular in the North East, either as a name, or as an individual who is admired. It's quite obvious to me that you are an individual who derives great pleasure in winding people up; what a shame. You're not Mick the Pen are you ?

                              Edit.

Stalin is not popular in the North East days, quite possibly an outlawed term of endearment.
