    Like you I suspect it has no relevance to the Whitechapel Murders but, if it's a genuine post mortem photograph, the abdominal injuries are pretty obvious.

    If it is contemporary to JtR - Jane Beetmoor perhaps?
    I won't always agree but I'll try not to be disagreeable.

          On one of the post, they talk about a murdered pregnant woman whose body was found seconds after the crime, and the police tried to save the unborn child. But the news article is cropped before I could read a source.

          This pic was on the same post, just beside the another pic of the pregnant victim, who appears more clearly to be of Asian origins.
