  • C'mon Andy!

There could be a british Wimbledon champion for the first time in 396 years today......and it would be so good because he is not just British, he's Scottish.

At a time when Scottish sport and society is shamed by the omnishables that Rangers FC (Zombie FC) it would be good for Scotland to add something positive in the sporting world.

Andy Murray is a survivor of the Dunblane massacre, a dour Scotsman who has more personality in his little finger than Tim Henman had in his whole body.

He only has to beat a legend of the game in Roger Federer.

The English folks have been praying for a British champion for decades.....but be careful what you wish for because if he manages it today Scotland will bang on about this victory more than English people do about 1966 when England stole the world cup with a goal that never was.
My opinion is all I have to offer here,

    Dave.

    Smilies are canned laughter.

In the end we got the best of both worlds: the Swiss smasher for the men's singles and an English Wimbledon champion for the men's doubles, with one letter different from the dour Scot.

      Hooray for Marray!

      Love,

      Caz
